Today 20th May 2022, the Vice Chancellor of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, Prof Aloysius M.N Okolie, inaugurated the newly elected Students Union Government of the Institution, led by Comr. Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere. This is in line with the Vice Chancellor’s determination to fix the Univerasity and bring her to the limelight against all odds. It could be recalled that the Erudite Professor of political science was appointed into office few weeks ago, and he has heated the ground running in many ways which the conduct of the SUG election is one of them. In his speech during the inauguration, he expressed his readiness to work with the Union leadership in achieving the best for the university and the students. Among the Students Union government leaders sworn in today are: The SUG President; Comr. Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere (Mickey), Vice President; Comr. Chinedu Precious Chinasa (Parfy), the Secretary General; Comr. Eneh Uchenna Vincent (Singapore), the Assistant Secretary General; Comr. Chukwuajah David (Dream), the Treasurer; Comr Ezugwu Akubilo Gerald (Fabrizio), Financial Secretary; Comr. Okereke Kingsley (Castro), Director of Health and Sports; Comr. Nnadi Chidera Godfrey (Jarule), Director of Sports; Comr. Anwunobi Charles (Tino Fresh), the Public Relation Officer; Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), Librarian; Comr. Ibe-Ugwu Chizoba Scholarstical (Clare). Also the Speaker of parliament; Comr Tyva Lubem Bernard (Agaboy), the Deputy Speaker; Comr. Emea Emmanuel (Celebrity Course Rep), and other officers of the house, together with SUG Chief Judge; Comr Nwankwo Damian Nnamdi (Dimo) and other judicial officers. In his inaugural speech, the SUG President, Comr Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere, expressed his gratitude and reiterated his commitment to giving ESUTITES his very best. He also promised to run an inclusive government.
