ESUT SUG P.R.O CLARIFIES ISSUES ABOUT THE ENS 311 EXAM

The 300 level students of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, who await the date for the examination on Entrepreneurship Studies (ENS 311) were some days ago thrown into confusion as a date (10th September) was purportedly released. This brought about doubt whether or the memo was actually from the management due to the means in which the information was communicated.

It took the intervention of the Students’ Union Government Public Relation Officer, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), who notified the curious Students that the information was not legit after he made inquiries from the appropriate quarters.

In a statement from the SUG P.R.O, Comr. Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), the Students are to disregard the rumor that the exam has been fixed to hold by 10 Sept. He further stated that the management is yet to fix any date for the examination.
The students should anticipate a date for the examination as the surrounding circumstances would be resolved soon, and a date for the examination be duly and properly communicated.

ESUT SUG LEADERSHIP OFFICIALLY WELCOMES THE NEW STUDENTS INTO THE SCHOOL AS THEY MATRICULATE TODAY

The leadership of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the prestigious Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, led by Comr Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere (Mickey) felicitates and congratulates the new students on this day of their matriculation ceremony.

In a statement made available to ESUT NEWS, the SUG President, Comr Udeh Michael, congratulates the students for the choice and successful admission into one of the best institutions in the world.
He went further to welcome the students to ENUGU STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, ESUT, a fertile ground where you would know everything (Mahadum) just to discover your true human dignity, grow in character and excel in learning.

LAW STUDENTS ASSOCIATION CLASS ‘024 ESUT PRAYS- ESUT NEWS

Prayer is said to be the channel through which we access the hidden treasures of the kingdom.
It is on the aforesaid assertion that the Class Rep of 300 level, Law Faculty, ESUT, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), who also doubles as the SUG PRO led the class to the throne of grace and mercy through prayer.

Relying on the word of God when he says “Call onto me in time of trouble and I will answer you…”, the class having experienced challenges, and as the examination commences, calls on God for his intervention, grace and help.

As widely noted that a praying family is a successful family, it is gathered that the class has the highest number of students political leaders in the entire institution, ranging from the SUG PRO, two senators representing the faculty at the SUG parliament, SUG minister of Special duty, Faculty ASG, faculty DOS, faculty PRO,  and other positions in the faculty.

According to Dr SKC Ogbonnia, in his book, Effective Leadership Formula, “… the charismatic leader is only transformational if the individual can successfully bring about desired change, by conveying and fostering trust, honesty, integrity, loyalty, equality and justice in course of the change”.
Depictedly, it is quite conspicuous that the leader of 300 level ‘024 class of Law Faculty, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa is a charismatic leader who should be emulated by other youth/student leaders.

ESUT HOLIDAY SHORTENED AS SECOND SEMESTER COMMENCES TUESDAY, 2ND AUGUST – ESUT-NEWS

The atmosphere in the University community of Enugu State University of Science and Technology-ESUT was electrified with joy as most departments and Faculties excluding Law and Pharmacy, rounded up with their Examinations, and Students traveling for holidays.

However the joy was fettered with by the news of the resumption for the second semester session as released yesterday by the University Registrar, Mr Ambrose Ugwu, stating that second semester starts Tuesday 2nd August, 2022.

Speaking to the Students over the development, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), SUG PRO, decried of the immediate resumption, opined that students should be given time to cool off the stress associated with exams. He however stated that decision of the University is for the best interest of the Students. He equally thanked the Vice Chancellor, Prof Aloysius Michaels Okolie, for always considering the overall interest of the Students in his decisions.

A SURVEY OF THE ESUT SUG P.R.O AND TEAM ON THE ONGOING HOSTEL 3 RENOVATIONS

Being concerned about the welfare of the students living in the school hostels, and in a bid to giving them a resounding voice, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), SUG P.R.O in company of his PAs, Minister of water, NOCA and the Senators representing the hostel at SUG parliament undertook a survey visit to the ongoing renovations of the hostel 3, to ascertain the level of works there and other needs of the hostellers.

Obviously, massive works are ongoing at the site. It is expected that the hostel would be ready in weeks time.

It was gathered also that the Vice Chancellor, Prof Aloysius Michaels Okolie, has assured that the borehole would be converted and powered by solar energy. That being done, water scarcity would be a thing of the past in the school hostels.

The efforts of the SUG President, Comr Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere in protecting the interest of the students are quite massive and commendable.

ANOTHER ESUTITE BAGS FIRST CLASS

Celebration galores as Daniel Okeke from Awgu becomes the first Student to bag First Class with GP 4.59 from Department of Business Education (Accounting), Faculty of Education, ESUT.

Revealing the news to ESUT NEWS, Comr. Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), SUG PRO, stated that the celebrant was the immediate past SUG minister for Religious Affairs, the Departmental President and also Class Rep.

He further eulogized the young man for his excellent service to the Students of ESUT.

ESUT VC APPROVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SCHOOL PARK ROAD- WORKS TO COMMENCE IMMEDIATELY ~Dona Okolieuwa, SUG PRO

The Vice Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology- ESUT, Prof Aloysius Michaels Okolie has today approved and awarded the construction of the School Park road. The approval came following the request of the Students’ Union Government led by Comr Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere.

The information gathered from the SUG PRO, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), it was noted however that works will commence immediately on the said road without further delay.

The students are to cheer up as more meaningful developments as being attracted by the Students’ Union Government abound.

PROF OKOLIE (ESUT VC) REITERATED HIS COMMITMENT TO TAKING ESUT TO THE GREATER HEIGHT AS HE RECEIVES A GRAND RECEPTION FROM AWGU EGBELELI ~Donatus Okolieuwa(Dona4All), ESUT SUG P.R.O.

The Vice Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, Prof Aloysius Michaels Okolie, has on Sunday 10th July 2022, in a grand reception and thanksgiving service organized in his honour by Awgu Egbeleli Development Union (AEDU), reiterated his resolves to taking the prestigious Institute of learning, ESUT to the greater height leaving no stone unturned.

In a statement gathered by ESUT NEWS, the Vice Chancellor expressed profound gratitude to the Enugu State Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for the opportunity to serve as the VC of ESUT, and also pledges his unalloyed resolves to bringing ESUT to the limelight of education in Nigeria and the world at large.

The erudite professor of political science, Okolie, who has equally distinguished himself in many leadership positions, couldn’t hold his joy as he was gifted an award by his lovely people, Awgu Egbeleli. He promised to make them proud. Hear him:

WHY ESUT EXPERIENCES BLACK OUT THESE DAYS- Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), SUG PRO

It has not being long the light in the school was restored with the joy that follows it as expressed by the students, especially the hostellers. However, the joy was cut short as the meta box supplying the Campus got burnt, and the light ceased, leaving the students in the darkness for days now.

According to the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Prof Jude Udenta and The SUG President, Comr. Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere, as gathered by the SUG P.R.O, Comr. Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), the school management has long swung into action by reaching out to the appropriate section of the EEDC to fix the burnt box immediately.

However, the EEDC officials assured that they are already working towards fixing it. Though it may take some days to be fixed, but the problem would be soon solved and the light restored in no distant time.
