SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT DEADLINE: VC YIELDS TO THE PLEA OF SUG, EXTENDS DATE

Following the outcry of the students who could not meet up with the 29th June deadline of the school fees payment, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Aloysius M. N Okolie, in his magnanimity, yielded to the pleas of the Students’ Union Leadership, led by Comr. Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere, by extending the time till Friday 1st July, 2022.

It should be noted that the powerful inaugural speech of the SUG President, Comr Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere, “Your problems are our problems, and your challenges are our challenges”. has being a guiding principle of the administration of Students’ Union Government-SUG leadership, as the government  bent on protecting the Interest of the Students irrespective of anything.

Students are therefore advised to maximally utilize the opportunity, and  also prepare for their examinations, as it still holds as scheduled, which is 5th July, 2022.

Year one students are excluded from the portal closure deadline.

ESUT STUDENTS DECRY THE JUNE 29TH DEADLINE FOR SCHOOL FEES PAYMENTS, CALL ON VC TO EXTEND TIME

It is no longer news that the school portal will be closed after 29th June 2022. This development will deny those who could not meet up with their school fees payments the access to examination hall as they will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

It could however, be recalled that the Vice Chancellor, Prof A.M.N Okolie had earlier extended the date for two(2) weeks after the Students’ Union Government-SUG pleaded on behalf of the Students.

The decision reached at the meeting with school management and the Students’ leaders, was what basically informed the SUG FACULTY TOUR embarked upon by the  SUG leadership weeks ago, wherein students were made to understand the need to pay on time.

Students are therefore implored to put up with the new development, 29th June, so as to avert the problems further postponement would pose for the Institution.

JUBILATION THRILLS ESUT HOSTELERS AS THE LIGHT IS RESTORED

It could be recalled that the SUG P.R.O, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All) assured the students that the light would be restored in no distance.  The assurance follows the efforts of the school management and that of Students’ Union Government led by Comr. POWER OUTAGE IN ESUT HOSTELS: SUG MOVES TO REMEDY THE SITUATION

It is quite conspicuous that water is
very necessary for the sustainability of life, and in the contemporary
society, light is very germane  to the availability of water. The total black out in the school hostels despite the fact that there is always light in the school community inadvertently occasioned water scarcity in the hostel.

The information gathered by the ESUT NEWS, has it that the Students’ Union Government of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, led by Comr Udeh Michael Nwachukwunyere, has swung into action to remedy the situation.

In a statement issued by the SUG P.R.O, Comr Donatus Okolieuwa (Dona4All), he implore the Students to exercise patience as efforts are being made to urgently arrest the situation and foster a lasting solution.
The SUG PRO, noting the importance of light in the school hostel, especially at this period of examination preparation, assured the Students that the school management and the SUG leadership will not relent until the best is achieved for the Students.

Meanwhile, the Union’s leadership are not leaving all their eggs in one basket as they devised an alternative to supply water to the hostelers. An undisclosed source said that there was a surplus water in the hostels this morning, and such will continue unabated.
